Join Matthew Stapley, Chartered Herbalist, for a hands-on introduction to herbal remedies for common summertime skin irritations and everyday ailments.
In this interactive workshop, participants will explore medicinal plants used to support the body during cuts, scrapes, bug bites, sunburns, bruises, and other minor skin concerns. Together we will discuss a variety of herbs, infused oils, and natural preparations commonly found in the home herbal apothecary, while learning practical ways to incorporate plant medicine into everyday life.
Participants will also gain hands-on experience creating their own herbal wound-healing salve to take home.
This workshop will include:
🌿 Herbal remedies for common summer skin concerns
🧴 Salves, infused oils, and topical herbal preparations
🌱 Hands-on herbal medicine making
🩹 Tips for building a simple seasonal herbal remedy kit
Perfect for beginners, gardeners, homesteaders, and herbal enthusiasts alike. Each participant will leave with their own handmade herbal salve and practical herbal knowledge they can begin using at home.
